Budgeting for your party

Real numbers, no fluff. Whether it's a fifth birthday or a fortieth, here's what parties cost around here and how to get the most fun for your money.

Kids' parties

  • Home parties usually run $100 to $300. Venue parties often run $300 to $800 (source: Chuck E. Cheese Spokane party cost guide).
  • Under $100: a starter rental like Beanbag Chairs ($50), Skee-Ball ($55) or the Teepee Village ($59).
  • $150 to $250: a full party package like the Movie Night Party ($199) or Campfire Campout Party ($249).
  • $300 and up: premium packages plus extras, like the Little Princess Royal Party ($349).

Rent it or buy it?

A glow putting course costs about $528 to buy. Rent it for $159, delivered and picked up. A movie screen and a good linked speaker pair cost $240 to $280 before you even buy a projector. The Movie Screen Kit (projector, screen and speakers) rents for $129.

The real cost of "stuff"

One-time party gear has a way of ending up in a closet, a garage sale or the landfill. Every piece we rent gets cleaned, checked and sent to the next party, again and again. We skip single-use decor on purpose. It's easier on your wallet, your storage space and Spokane.

No surprise costs

  • Delivery and next-morning pickup are free, up to 40 miles from downtown Spokane.
  • Pay in full when you book. Your card stays on file only for after-party fees, and we always send a photo and an explanation first.
  • After-party fees: late $25 per hour, capped at $100, excessive cleaning $25 to $50, capped at $50, damage or loss at the listed replacement cost. Normal wear is never charged.
