A real midway, minus the megaphone guy.

The best thing about a carnival midway is that nobody has to be taught how to play. You walk up, you throw something, you get a number, you laugh, you go again. That is exactly what the Midway Jamboree crate is built to do. Every station is a walk-up game with an obvious goal, so guests jump in without instructions and without awkward standing around. It works for birthdays, school family nights, church parties, HOA and neighborhood events, company picnics, and employee appreciation days.

And because the whole lineup is dry, you are no longer locked into good weather or a big open yard. Set the Midway Jamboree up on the grass in July or inside a gym, hall, or finished basement in February.

  • Inflatable skee-ball ramp with a ball return, the same roll-and-score game from the boardwalk
  • Giant inflatable ring toss with a numbered target mat
  • Beanbag toss banner that hangs anywhere and packs down flat
  • Wooden disk drop tabletop game with numbered scoring slots
  • Dry land fish game with two fishing rods
  • The Granny Pants game, which is the one everybody films
  • Station signs for a real midway feel
  • Tickets or punch cards so guests can work the whole midway
  • Guest flow guide so the games keep moving
  • Delivery and pickup in the Spokane metro area, subject to address, date, timing, and package fit
The lineup

Six stations. Zero explaining.

Each game stands on its own, so you can spread all six across a yard or a hall and let guests roam, or run them as a ticketed circuit using the included guest flow guide. Every station gets its own sign so it looks like a midway instead of a pile of games in the corner.

Boardwalk classicAges 6 and up

Inflatable Skee-Ball

The centerpiece. An inflatable ramp five feet long, with a ringed target board at the top and a built in ball return, scored just like the arcade version. Players roll the ball up the ramp and try to land the high-value center ring, and the return feeds the ball straight back so there is no chasing between turns. It is the station that draws the first crowd, and the one that quietly turns into a grudge match between the dads.

Space: more compact than people expect, so it fits indoors easily. Needs room for the ramp plus standing room behind it.

Big and visualAll ages

Giant Ring Toss

An inflatable numbered target mat with tall posts and a set of oversized toss rings. Low scores are easy enough that little kids land one on their first throw, and the high-value posts are far enough back to keep the teenagers honest. Guests can play head to head or just take turns racking up points on their punch card.

Space: the mat is large (5 foot square). It sits flat and needs a tossing lane in front of it.

NewPacks flat

Beanbag Toss Banner

A full-size carnival banner with target openings cut into it, hung from yard poles staked into the ground or stretched in a doorway. Guests fire the four beanbags through the holes for points. This one is the flexible station: because it hangs rather than taking up floor space, it is the easiest game to squeeze into a tight indoor layout or tuck along the edge of a yard.

Space: vertical, so it uses almost no floor. Needs somewhere to hang and a throwing lane.

NewTabletop

Wooden Disk Drop

A striped, carnival-painted table top wooden board covered in pegs, with numbered scoring slots along the bottom. Drop a wooden disk in the top and watch it bounce its way down. Nobody can control where it lands, which is the whole joke, and it makes for a great tiebreaker or last-ticket bonus round. The folding table it sits on is included upon request.

Space: tabletop only. Perfect for small rooms, entryways, and tucking in beside the ticket table.

NewDry land

The Fishing Game

A handmade carnival fishing game played entirely on dry land, with two rods and a pond full of numbered catches. Players cast, hook a fish, and score whatever number is on the bottom. It is the gentlest station in the lineup, which makes it the perfect counterweight to the noise coming off the Granny Pants game.

Space: small footprint and no power needed. Works on a floor, a lawn, or a patio.

Good to know: every game in the Midway Jamboree lineup is dry, so nobody goes home soaked and nothing has to be drained or dried before pickup. The skee-ball is rated for ages six and up, and the other five stations work for just about any age. Station lineups can flex a little based on your space and your date, and the final list is always confirmed in your quote.
Midway safety

Keep the midway moving safely.

The stations are easy, all-ages fun, but a few grown-up habits keep it that way. Inflatables want level ground and anchoring as guided by the setup card, indoors on sandbags and outdoors on stakes. Any cords for lighting or signage should stay taped down and clear of walkways. The disk drop board belongs on the folding table that comes in the crate, not balanced on a cooler. The fish game rods should stay pointed down and away from faces.

Give the Granny Pants game the widest berth of anything in the crate. With four players in the pants at once and nobody able to see their own feet, it needs the most open, level floor of any station, well away from tables and steps, with a supervising adult watching the space. A supervising adult should also keep lines orderly, keep little guests in view at the toss stations, and make sure beanbags, rings, and disks are picked up between turns so nobody slips on one.

Indoors or outdoors

Where can you put a midway?

Both work now. The thing that decides it is floor space, and the two stations that drive it are the Granny Pants game, which needs open floor for four players who cannot see their feet, and the giant ring toss, which needs a clear tossing lane. Everything else adapts, including the skee-ball. Tell us your space in your quote request and Mary will map the fit before you book.

Indoor rule of thumb: if the room has an open area big enough for four people to stagger around in giant pants without hitting furniture, plus a clear tossing lane for the ring toss, the whole midway fits. Gyms, church and community halls, event rooms, finished basements, and large garages are all strong candidates. In a tighter room we can drop to a smaller station lineup or stagger the games, which we will sort out with you in the quote. Inflatables indoors are anchored on sandbags, never staked.

Add-ons & upgrades

Round out the midway with extra support and extra fun.

Extra Night

$100 per night

Every crate is an overnight rental by default. Add extra nights at $100 each when booked in advance, so a weekend event can run Friday through Sunday without anyone rushing to repack the midway.

Setup Help

$100

Would rather not build the midway yourself? Add setup help and the two of us will position all six stations, inflate and anchor the skee-ball, hang the toss banner, dress the table, and set out every sign, so the midway is standing and ready when your guests walk in. Setup is not included in the base crate price, so this is the option to add if you want it done for you.

Popcorn Machine

$75

Add a real popcorn machine for the full fairground smell. Nothing says carnival faster than fresh popcorn, and it gives guests something to hold while they wait their turn at skee-ball.

Quick note: Add-ons are subject to availability on your date and are confirmed in your quote. Setup is not included in the base price. Without the setup help add-on, the Midway Jamboree is a self-setup rental that you build from the included guides, enjoy, repack, and leave ready for pickup. Most groups find the six stations go up faster than they expect, since nothing needs tools. Prizes are not included, so those are yours to choose however you like.
Great for

Any crowd, instant fun.

Backyard birthdays, indoor winter birthdays, school and church events, family fun nights, HOA and neighborhood parties, company picnics, employee appreciation events, family reunions, graduation parties, fundraisers, block parties, and any event where guests need easy stations to walk up to and start playing.

Payment & deposits

Simple payment structure.

One $100 deposit holds your date and does double duty on party day: half goes toward your rental total and half is held as a refundable equipment security deposit.

Step 1 · Booking

$100 saves your date

A $100 booking deposit reserves your party date once your quote is approved.

Step 2 · Delivery

$50 applies, balance due

On party day, $50 of the deposit is credited toward your rental total. The remaining rental balance is due at delivery, including any approved add-ons.

Step 3 · After Pickup

$50 refunded in 5 business days

The other $50 is held as a refundable equipment security deposit. After pickup and inspection, we refund it within 5 business days, minus charges for missing items or avoidable damage.

Plain English: We are not in the business of making money from equipment deposits. Grass stains, scuffed beanbags, and small signs of regular party play are expected. The deposit is mainly for missing items such as beanbags, rings, wooden disks, or beach balls, along with avoidable damage or equipment that is not returned.
Plans change, we get it

Cancellations, reschedules, and weather.

  • More than 48 hours before your event: we can transfer your $100 booking deposit to any open date within 90 days at no charge.
  • Within 48 hours of your event: the $100 booking deposit is forfeited because the booking slot has been held and other bookings may have been turned away.
  • Weather: never penalized. Because the whole midway is dry, weather is much less of a problem than it used to be, and the first question we ask is whether you have an indoor space we can move to. If not, weather concerns are handled with a reschedule-first approach and the deposit can transfer to another open date within 90 days.
  • If we ever cancel on you due to illness, equipment failure, delivery issues, or something on our end: full refund or free reschedule, your choice.
Midway Jamboree Party FAQ

Questions about the midway?

What games come with the Midway Jamboree Party?

Six stations. The inflatable skee-ball is the boardwalk classic and the biggest draw, with a ramp five feet long and a built in ball return. The giant ring toss uses a numbered target mat and oversized rings. The beanbag toss banner hangs from a frame, doorway, fence, or wall so guests can fire beanbags through the target openings. The wooden disk drop is a pegged, carnival-striped board on its own folding table, where you drop a disk in the top and it bounces down into a numbered slot. The fish game is a handmade dry land fishing pond with two rods and numbered catches. And the Granny Pants game puts four players inside giant inflatable pants while teammates throw two dozen beach balls for them to catch. Every station comes with its own sign, and the crate also includes tickets or punch cards and a guest flow guide.

Can the Midway Jamboree be set up indoors?

Yes, and that is new. The entire lineup is dry now, so there is no water and nothing to drain, which means an indoor midway actually works. The deciding factor is floor space, and it is the Granny Pants game that sets the bar, because four players need open floor to stagger around in without hitting furniture. The giant ring toss needs a flat spot for the mat plus a tossing lane. The skee-ball is easier to place than most people expect, and the toss banner is vertical while the disk drop and fish game have small footprints. Gyms, church and community halls, event rooms, finished basements, and large garages are the usual winners. Share your room dimensions in your quote request and we will map the fit. Indoors we anchor the inflatables on sandbags rather than stakes.

What is the Granny Pants game, really?

It is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, and it is the reason people book this crate. Four players step into enormous pairs of inflatable granny pants that come up to about chest height. Teammates then throw two dozen beach balls at them, and each player has to catch as many as possible in the pants by waddling, squatting, and lunging around. Most balls in the pants wins the round. Kids can play it just fine, though teens and adults tend to get the most competitive about it, and it is the single easiest way to pull parents out of the folding chairs and into the party. Give it open, level floor, because players genuinely cannot see their own feet.

How much space does the midway need?

A typical backyard fits the Jamboree Midway with stations arranged for easy flow. Company and school layouts want more room, such as a large yard, a park area, a school field, or a gym. Indoors, give the Granny Pants game its open floor first and the ring toss its tossing lane, then fit the skee-ball, the banner, the disk drop, and the fish game into the gaps, since the banner is vertical and the other three have small footprints. Share your space in the quote request and we will map the fit before you book.

What ages is the Midway Jamboree Party best for?

The stations are designed for all-ages fun, so little kids, big kids, teens, and adults can all jump in. The scoring on the ring toss and the toss banner is forgiving enough for young kids to land points immediately, the fish game is a favorite with the youngest guests, and Granny Pants is competitive enough that adults get genuinely invested. The inflatable skee-ball is rated by its maker for ages six and up, so plan on the younger children playing the other five stations. A supervising adult should keep lines moving and younger guests in view.

Can you run the midway at a school, church, or company event?

Yes, and the Grand Midway is built for exactly that. Layout support is available depending on date, location, and staffing, and everything is confirmed in your quote. Indoor venues are now fully on the table, which makes school family nights and winter company events much easier to plan.

Are prizes included?

No, prizes are not included. The crate brings the tickets or punch cards so guests can work their way around the midway and keep score, but the prizes themselves are yours to choose. Most customers prefer it that way, because they can match the prizes to their crowd, set their own budget, and hand out things their guests actually want rather than generic carnival trinkets. Dollar store toys, candy, homemade ribbons, and gift cards for the grown-up categories all work well.

Can the midway go to a park?

Often, yes. Parks can have their own rules about reservations, permits, parking, and delivery access, and inflatables sometimes need specific approval. Tell us which park when you request your quote and we will help you think through the details.

Do you set the midway up for us?

By default this is a self-setup rental. We deliver the crate, you set the stations up using the included step-by-step guides and station signs, and we pick everything up afterward. If you would rather not build it yourself, add the setup help option for $100 and the two of us will position the stations, hang the banner, and set out the signs for you. Either way, our job is delivery and setup. We do not host, emcee, or staff the games, so the party itself stays yours to run. For the Grand Midway at a company, school, or venue event, layout support can be added, and we will spell out exactly what is included in your quote.

Do any of the games need power?

The skee-ball inflates with the electric pump that comes in the crate, so plan on one accessible outlet for setup, and a hand pump comes along as a backup if you are somewhere without power. Once it is inflated, the ring toss, beanbag toss banner, wooden disk drop, fish game, and Granny Pants game need no power at all. If you are adding the popcorn machine, that needs its own outlet.

How many guests can play at once?

With six stations running, you can keep a good-sized crowd busy at the same time, since guests rotate on their own once the signs and punch cards are out. That self-service flow is the whole point of a midway. For larger headcounts, the Grand Midway can add stations so lines stay short, and the guest flow guide includes suggestions for running the midway as a timed circuit when you want more structure.
